Optimism
In the sky above, big swans were flying south. It was as if their wings were saying, "It is time. It is time."
Was it a sign that something would happen? The swans were also placed under the one by whom all things were created.
The rose had heard so many promises during the summer but now it needed a sign. A sign was better than many words.
One day a young girl in love was walking along the beach picking flowers. She was soon to be a bride and wanted to make a crown of flowers for her head. She walked along singing while she carefully chose the most beautiful flowers. She had a big bouquet.
"You," she said, "you’ll be at the front of the crown because you look like a rose - the smallest rose in the world. I will cover you with gold because when I stand in front of the altar, you will tell of the love that burns in my heart."
